Welcome to the International Education Center
Learners and educators have access to open world-class educational resources
(meaning free access to learning material) in combination with a wide choice of
education and communication tools in this department.
The aim is two folded:
-
To enable (future) entrepreneurs from all backgrounds to learn with and from each other, according to their own preferences (so what, how, where and when you want) using a wide arrange of educational material.
-
Empower and Stimulate educators (can be learners at the same time) to collaboratively start and innovate open entrepreneurship courses and related learning resources.
So browse through the course catalog and start with improving your entrepreneurial skills and that of many others!!
Structure further explained:
Many different courses are offered in the course catalog. To make the navigation easier, the catalog is divided in several sections each with their own topics
-
Start-up Courses This section hosts courses that are entirely focused on the start of an new business.
-
Related Discipline Courses If you want to go deeper into a specific discipline that is related with entrepreneurship (e.g. management, marketing or finance) go to the related discipline section, where you will find courses of various disciplines.
-
Sector Specific Courses The last section hosts courses that are focused at a particular sector (e.g. e-business)
Each course has a public classroom. In this room you can posts your comments or questions around learning resources (or reply of course). The group also has its own file-repository where you can find or upload additional documents/links that complement the course.
You can open your own learning group if you want to learn more intensively with specific group of peer-learners.
Why share educational resources?
Education should be easy and openly available for everybody, so we can all
benefit of world-class educational resources. Openly sharing knowledge will not only benefit learners but also educators. They will inspire and support each other in the creation or improvement of educational material.
Of course openly sharing should not mean that you loose the ability to protect your material from what you think is misusage. So protect your work with the Creative Commons license (easily created via the their website), and publish your material with this license in a way that you want to share it. Of course we expect that you respect the licenses of others.
This platform enables you to share your learning resources or courses with the rest of the world. Start a course with others and collaboratively contribute to the development of entrepreneurship education.
As you all know, learning is the key to a higher prosperity, so learn from each other and make education for everybody a reality!
