Business Labs Training of Trainers Workshops :

These are essential elements of training programs for young people both within and outside the educational system.

How we work?
By reinforcing existing initiatives we help communities upgrade programs to increase their effectiveness and efficiently utilize limited resources.

 
What is the Goal?
To reduce youth unemployment and under-employment by providing trainers with the necessary tools and skills to design, conduct, and institutionalize entrepreneurial education and development programs.

 Results:

    At the end of the Business Labs workshop, participants will have:
  • Acquired the basic principles and identified the main factors guiding the establishment and management of a business
  • Analyzed the aspects of creating a product image and developing marketing strategies
  • Undergone a hands-on experience in conducting a small business in the real market
  • Acquired a new perspective on business skills training

Structure

During the Workshop
Day 1 - Organize the Business
    Day´s action: Identify three possible products:
  • Introduction of trainers and participants
  • Review of the Business Plan and its components
  • Starting the business: the legal aspects
  • Identify backgrounds and assign groups
During the Workshop
Day 2 - Finding the Market
    Day´s action: Development of the selected product:
  • Marketing survey and feasibility survey
  • Marketing the product
  • Communication Process and Communication Methods
During the Workshop
Day 3 - Producing the Product
    Day´s action: Purchasing raw materials, making the product:
  • Producing and packaging the product
  • Field Study: Study visit to local businesses
  • Analysis of visited businesses
  • Information & Communication Technologies
  • Costing and Pricing
During the Workshop
Day 4 - Selling the Product
    Day´s action: Showcase and sale the product
  • Preparing for exhibition and presentation of product
  • Business Fair: get in touch with the customers and sell the product

Day 5 - Counting the Money
    Day´s actions: Preparing financial statements, final reports and presentations
