The Business Labs Project grew since its inception. It is now developed in 20 of the OAS Member States, in three languages (English, Spanish, and Portuguese), and in different topics, such as Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) development in the area of agro-business and tourism, in addition to our classic SME development model.
In 2002, two Business Labs workshops were delivered in Ecuador, where 60 practitioners were trained. In 2003, we had 1367 participants trained in 6 workshops in English and in Spanish. In 2004, 1835 participants were trained in 16 workshops in English, Spanish and Portuguese. So far in 2005 we had 3008 participants in 34 workshops conducted in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
The sum total up to August 2005, the Business Labs project includes 68 workshops where more than 6000 participants were trained with the content and the methodology of the Business Labs project.
