The Young Americas Business Trust in cooperation with MASHAV – Center for International Cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel and The Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center (MCTC) will present the final two Business Labs Workshops of the year.
The objective of these workshops is to contribute to the improvement the quality of life of the youth from dropout sectors by giving them the tools to start or expand their business ideas. The training of professionals involved in the support of small and medium enterprises contribute to reduce poverty.
These workshops are scheduled to be completed in a minimum of five days, where the participants will exchange theoretical ideas and practical business knowledge. Theoretical topics will be presented in conferences and practical topics in group discussions. Participants will have to adapt the workshop content to replicate according the requirements of their community.
The designated trainers by MCTC will be the experts Jaime L. Amsel , Phd, Organizational Psychologist and Guillermo Levinton , Ing, Business Management.
In addition, Fatima Almada from the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) will give a conference related to Agribusiness in the region.
The main topic of both workshops will be “Small and Medium Enterprises Development” focused on:
- Peru : “Youth Indigenous”
- Paraguay : “Agribusiness”
The regional workshops will include international participants from Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay respectively.
The participants will have field trips to small y medium enterprises in order to give them the opportunity to recognize experiences in the region and to encourage the exchange of best practices between young entrepreneurs.
A business fair will be developed on the fourth day of each workshop, where they will have first to introduce / market then sell their products in the real market.
