The
Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) is pleased to announce that the Global
Entrepreneurship Institute (GEI) will award TIC Americas 2008 Winners
with three months of online mentoring.
Understanding
how challenging the transition from the idea to the implementation of
businesses, the YABT and GEI, joined efforts and created a partnership
that will provide the winners access to the Online Mentoring Program.
This initiative will contribute valuable real-world knowledge, networking
contacts, and fresh ideas to the seven TIC Americas' winner teams.
With
this online mentoring program, teams will receive critical feedback and
guidance on a regular basis. Mentors will empower teams with the confidence,
knowledge, and the tools they need to grow their businesses. Each team
will have online access to a private workspace where they can visit and
work one-on-one with their online mentor. In the private workspace teams
will have access to structured educational content and lesson plans that
focus on the most important business drivers to entrepreneurial success.
Consequently TIC Americas' awardees will learn skills to make themselves
better entrepreneurs.
Founded
in 1998, the Global Entrepreneurship Institute (GEI) is a non-profit 501(c)
3 educational organization with the specific mission of advancing studies
on entrepreneurship around the world. GEI believes that entrepreneurship
is the link between inventors, innovation, and economic growth. GEI have
helped entrepreneurs raise more than $100 million and create companies
that are worth hundred of millions of dollars.
